Connective tissue grafting combined with restorative dentistry by your dentist
Patient shown here had long crowns that were not pleasing esthetically for a variety
of reasons. By using connective tissue grafts to reposition the gum tissue and placing
new crowns that matched the new position of the gum tissue, a much improved
appearance was created. Being "long in the tooth" can be a correctable situation. Click here to read more about Soft Tissue Grafting.

Crown lengthening (also called crown extension):
Can be needed for a variety of reasons. Improving a smile and the appearance of teeth is one of them. It may also be done to allow a tooth with a deep cavity to be restored. The following example is of a case done to enhance esthetics.

Implants done to replace single teeth or multiple teeth:
Implants can be done to replace single teeth or multiple teeth. The first example is of a patient who had lost a front tooth and had it restored with a dental implant.

Implants are used to stabilize a denture or
replace teeth for someone who has no remaining teeth.
The photo to the right is a panoramic X-ray showing implants
in place that were used to secure new teeth.
The photo below is a picture of a person before and
after implant placement to replace all her missing teeth.
Note the improved facial structure and more youthful appearance.
